Second Chance Dog Rescue

Second Chance Dog Rescue is one of San Diego's largest and most successful non-profit 501c3 organizations dedicated to saving homeless dogs. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs from local shelters, as well as dogs surrendered by their owners for various reasons, and dogs from Baja California, Mexico. Once we receive a dog, we provide medical care, including spay and neuter, and any necessary rehabilitation.

Joyeuse

Here is our twelve year old sweet white poodle called Joyeuse (French word for Happy) and she is happy and grateful to have been rescued from the shelter where her owner did not come and get her!! She weighs 7 lbs and is spayed, just had a full dental and had her ears cleaned and is up to date on her vaccines, microchipped and has been groomed and ready for a home for the holidays… We had her blood work done and it was nearly perfect… She is an active little gal with plenty of energy for a “seasoned” little girl.
